Siyo, Dugan Gibson is a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. He attends Northeastern State University, where he is pursuing a double major in Cherokee Language and Business Administration. Dugan proudly attends ceremonial grounds at White Oak and participates in the Native American Church and sweat ceremonies with his family. After graduation, he plans to work for the Cherokee Language Department and apply for the Cherokee Language Master Apprentice Program (CLMAP).
